Who we are

N3F1 Barbershop (Nefi’s Barbershop), 1517 W Patrick St, Ste B2, Frederick, MD 21702. For any question or request about your data, email [email protected].

This site

This site is informational: services, prices, barbers, photos and directions. It has no forms and no accounts, so it does not ask for your name, phone or email. For now, bookings happen on Booksy, where Booksy’s privacy policy applies to what you give Booksy.

Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate and sets no cookies.

Only with your permission, we also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and pointer movement) so we can see what works. Clarity masks the text you type and we do not use it for advertising. While it is on, it sets cookies in your browser (_clck and _clsk from this site, plus Microsoft’s own) that hold a random ID, so it can tell that several page views come from the same browser. That ID is not your name, and we do not try to work out who you are from it. Microsoft handles that data under its privacy statement.

Your choice about recordings

Clarity stays off unless you choose Allow when the site asks. You can change your answer at any time with Privacy choices at the bottom of every page; choosing No deletes Clarity’s cookies on this site and stops the recording. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a No and do not ask; you can still choose Allow yourself under Privacy choices.

Instagram messages

If you message us on Instagram, an automated booking assistant answers first and says so in its first reply. It can show prices, hours and open times, and it can make a reservation with you in the chat: it asks the first names of the people coming and a cell number, holds the time for 15 minutes and sends you one link where you confirm with a code we text to that number, and pay if your barber asks for payment up front. Nothing is booked until you confirm on that page. The names stay with the booking; the number is used for the code and, if you do not confirm, deleted when the hold ends. It only replies within 24 hours of your message. If you ask to talk to a person, the shop answers you from the Instagram app.

To understand a message written in your own words, the assistant passes its text to an AI language model that runs on Cloudflare, our hosting provider. The model works out what you are asking for and writes the assistant’s replies, which are checked against the shop’s real prices and open times before they are sent. To follow the conversation, we keep your last few messages, shortened and with phone numbers and emails hidden, for up to 3 hours after your last message (and delete them sooner when the reservation is made or you ask for a person). Cloudflare states that it does not use them to train AI models.

We keep a scrambled code for the conversation (not your username) and where you are in the booking for 3 hours after your last message. After that it is no longer used, and a cleanup deletes it, normally within the same day. Meta handles the messages themselves under its own privacy policy. Messaging us on Instagram or Facebook does not sign you up for texts or email.

Who else handles data

Cloudflare hosts this site, counts visits and runs the AI model described above. Microsoft provides Clarity, if you allow it. Meta carries Instagram messages. Booksy handles bookings. Each works under its own terms and privacy policy.

Your requests

This site keeps no account, name, phone or email for you. If you want to know what we hold about you, or to have something corrected or deleted (for example, an email you sent us), write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days and may ask a question or two to confirm it is you. For your Booksy account and appointments, ask Booksy.

Text messages

This site does not ask for your phone number. Text messages from N3F1’s own booking system are covered by our SMS terms. We do not sell mobile numbers, and we do not share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising, and we don’t send promotional messages without your permission.

Changes

We will update this notice when we launch our own booking system, which will come with its own information about appointment data. The date at the top shows the latest version.
